OPEN CALL for proposals for new works, or already-completed works that suit the criteria, for soprano and clarinet/bass clarinet with optional electronics. The chosen works will be performed by Elizabeth Hilliard and Paul Roe as part of the Béal festival of new music and new text in November 2010.

Text must be by a living poet or writer, and the work should not be longer than 10 minutes. Collaboration with one of the festival poets may be an option; texts provided by them can be found at http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8028200/beal_texts.doc

Proposals/scores should be sent to bealfestival@gmail.com by July 5th (scores in pdf format); new works would need to be completed by September 5th.
